Innovative Water Pressure Booster Pump Systems

In lieu of typical packaged water booster pump systems that are often oversized, run too often, are overly complicated, very noisy, use inordinate amounts of electricity, and require frequent maintenance, we have been utilizing a unique water pressure booster pump system that is designed to allow the pump to run at full speed (which is typically the most efficient rate), charging up pressure tanks, and then cycling off. No variable speed motors are required, the need for elaborate electronic controls is eliminated, and there is no need for a pressure reducing valve which causes additional friction thus making the pump work harder to accomplish its task. The end result is a system that rarely has to turn on, uses 10% or less electricity than a typical system, and greatly extends the life of the moving parts (the pumps). We have used these systems in most of our buildings (existing and new).
